This page is about me, surprise surprise. I work in a public library, having come from a scientific background and don’t really plan on going back. Almost a year ago Alex and I were married in this wonderful Victorian home in Topeka, it was the wedding I had never imagined, but it couldn’t have been more perfect. Life isn’t too exciting, but I like to crochet and quilt, and we love our pets. There are the cats: Greta and Spike. And the new addition is Dean, our Corgi.
Hi, I saw your beautiful yellow half double crochet afghan and I was wondering if you could tell me what pattern you used to crochet the white shell edging?
Hi Sharon. Let’s see if I can remember, that was a while ago! =) I think it was something like:
slip stitch in the 1st stitch, chain 2 *skip 2 stitches, 5 double crochets into next stitch, skip next 2 stitches, single crochet into next stitch, repeat from * to end and finish off.
Or something similar to that. I’m glad you liked it!!
